Our office is committed to providing care to our patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we also feel it is our responsibility to reduce non-urgent visits in order to stop the spread of the virus and protect the health of our patients and staff. Starting immediately, we are taking the following steps:
Whenever possible visits will be conducted via Medeo telehealth, or if this is inconvenient for you a telephone call. If an in person examination is required after the telehealth visit this can be arranged at a later time. If we feel your situation is urgent and requires in person assessment this will be arranged.
For EMG appointments, there will still be a telehealth visit. If the medial issue is essential or urgent we will arrange the EMG, if it is not urgent, then this will be rescheduled .
Please do not come to the office if you have mild symptoms (cough, runny nose, sore throat). If you have more serious respiratory symptoms (like a cough, fever, or difficulty breathing) do not come to our office. As a neurology office we do not have any facilities or capabilities to test for COVID 19. Instead, check with your local public health unit for instructions on how or when to get testing.
Our medical office assistants will mostly be working from home in the short-term, but our phone lines will be open regular hours please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.
